Welcome!

Whether you are a new or experienced foster or adoptive parent, you are among a select group of caring families who have opened their hearts and homes to children in need.
By taking advantage of the resources provided by your local foster and adoptive parent association, you can gain resources and support to assist you in providing the best love and care available to our children.
Please consider becoming an active participant in the Tallahassee Area Foster and Adoptive Parent Association (TAFAPA). The future of our children can be greatly enhanced by your involvement and advocacy. Find out more about us and how you can help.

Tallahassee - On Aug. 26, 2012, our Heartland House Resource Center was completely destroyed by a fire. Click here for more details. The center has been a 24-hour/day training and supply facility for foster, adoptive and relative caregivers and youth since 2000.
We are in desperate need of volunteers and resources to rebuild. To volunteer, please email the association president, Karen Condry.
Monetary contributions can be made by checks payable to TAFAPA and dropped off at any branch of Florida Commerce Credit Union or mailed to TAFAPA, Post Office Box 4162, Tallahassee, FL 32315. You can also donate through PayPal. All donations are tax deductible.
